Craig's List Find: Bar Cart

I've been searching for a bar cart for what seems like centuries. I came across a few that caught my eye over the years (see here ) but never anything that really felt like exactly what I wanted.

It seems the wait has been worth the while because this weekend I picked up this guy:

The glass keeps it from looking too vintage and the siding is just the right amount of detail. I do plan on changing the wheels and most likely slapping on some punchy high gloss paint, but I can't wait to share the final outcome!

Interior Crush

I scroll through hundreds of images of interiors a day. Sometimes they start to all look the same - until one just really tickles my fancy. Take Danielle Moss's Chicago apartment. I am obsessed. It's my kind of perfect - flooded with bright light, whites, gold, and grey. Every surface is meticulously styled and the whole thing stays perfectly cohesive.

The fireplace is perfect too. I want it ALL.

Quick Fix

I bought these mini succulents a couple of months ago during an early morning at the Union Square farmers market. My original plan was to snag some more and make myself a sick West Elm inspired terrarium full of succulents and layered dirt, but a couple of real life issues got in the way and they sat on my counter in their original pots for three months.

UNTIL this past weekend, where I got sick of staring at my unfinished plans. I had just finished burning a candle that was in this pretty dish so I took the ten minutes to re-pot the succulents. The bowl still needs a few more plants, but it sure as hell beats the original pots, no?
